The key to this game’s success is its simplicity. Again you can use this to your advantage to distract them away from places you need to waddle to. The humans will also always return items to their proper place if they spot them strewn about thanks to your busy beak. This can be used to manoeuvre people out of the way, whilst you nip in and steal something, and run away without being spotted. Position yourself behind cover and do your signature honk, and without fail they will wander over to investigate the sound. Thankfully the village inhabitants are both mindlessly inquisitive and anally retentive. The key to victory is to understand your enemy. Many of the villagers will react to your presence if they spot you, thus preventing you from causing havoc. Most of these tasks will require a particular skill you don’t tend to associate with geese, and that’s stealth. Once done, you’ll unlock a new part of the village for you to continue your honking antics in. Once you’ve completed enough in an area, you’ll get a final task to undertake.
The tasks could be anything from stealing a prize pumpkin, to scaring a young boy into a telephone box. Each one causes a little bit of mischief to the unfortunate villagers going about their daily life. As you venture through each area, you’re given a set of tasks to complete. Honking onto centre-stage comes House House, with a game that makes you waddle around pulling pranks in a local village, like some sort of feathered Dennis the Menace. This task will unlock after completing some of the earlier tasks. The cleaner is next to the trashcan at the house to the right of the screen, while you need to knock over the trashcan itself to get the toothbrush.Īll the other items can be grabbed from the shop. Most of the items on the shopping list will be in the shop itself, but a few aren't. It's best to drag the shopping basket a bit farther away so that the Shopkeeper doesn't find the basket and start putting items away. This task has you grabbing items and placing them in the shopping basket near the shop. Hitting the switch will change the TVs to a view within the store walk around a bit and you'll see yourself on TV. This is your chance to sneak into the store and hit the red switch.

When the Boy comes looking for his toy, he'll have to buy it again from the shop.Īfter you trap the Boy in the phone booth, the owner of the TV store will come out to help him. If you take the Boy's toy plane and drop it in the shop, the Shopkeeper will set it up as if it's an item for sale.
Move them away and put the store glasses closer to the Boy, and he'll pick them up and put those on instead. When he's bending down, sneak up close and snatch the glasses right off his head. Next, get close to the Boy and you'll see that you can untie his shoelaces. To start, grab the pair of glasses from the storefront, and place them near the Boy. Coral the kid to the top end of the town map, and he'll run into the phone booth to call his parent for backup.įor this task, you can make the Boy put on the wrong pair of glasses. The Boy will be scared when you honk at him, causing him to run away. When she gets ready to shoo you, grab the head of the broom and start pulling. The Shopkeeper will use a broom to shoo you off that's no good, so you need to break that broom. It's in this area that you'll learn how different parts of the game interact with each other.
